Graduation

We have ourselves a beautiful, smart, talented, compassionate, witty, fun-loving Sixth-Grade Graduate.

Here she is receiving her award, she was so sweet and after shaking her teacher's hand Abby reached over and gave her a hug. It was endearing and I have to admit I couldn't hold back the tears a few times during their graduation.

The girls in Mrs. L's class. This group has been together for fifth and sixth grade and have really sewed lasting friendships. These kids love to laugh!

They celebrated big with a b-b-q and water games on the day of their 'graduation' and on the last day of school their teachers hosted a breakfast for them. A kneaders french toast breakfast. mmmmm!

Congratulations, Abby!

She is such a beautiful girl! I agree that 6th grade graduation is an emotional ordeal for the moms. Our school has the 6th grade walk down the halls while all of the other grades clap them out of the school. I was crying this year and I don't even have a child in 6th grade! How crazy is that?
