We don’t get the chance to see Grandpa very often. But this summer we were so lucky to be able to spend some time with him.He lives on Orcas Island. We had the best time and our week was filled with wonderful memories!!! Thank you Grandpa!

To arrive at grandpas is no easy feat. We caught the early morning flight to Seattle, drove to the coast and then took the ferry over to Orcas.

Jacob turned 5 while we were on vacation! We had a double-party for Jacob and Anna (who had her b-day 2 days after we came home) It was so fun for them to celebrate their special day with Grandpa and the rest of the family.

What an amazing trip! My kids would love finding all of those sea creatures! Are the 3 boys in the bathtub all yours? Such a cute picture. You are one lucky mama! We love the Northwest. Wish it was just a little closer to home. :) Looks like the trip of a lifetime.
Living on Orcas, it's great fun to see people visiting the island and enjoying all it has to offer. Awfully cute Dean kids, and a great photographer!
