Sail to Six

Grandpa on the Island sent us some big racing sails from a sailboat in Seattle and Jacob loved them so much we themed his birthday party around them.

We had all hands on deck to help and enjoyed watching the crew. Happy Birthday little Sailor!

ORCAS ISLAND

We don’t get the chance to see Grandpa very often. But this summer we were so lucky to be able to spend some time with him.He lives on Orcas Island. We had the best time and our week was filled with wonderful memories!!! Thank you Grandpa!

To arrive at grandpas is no easy feat. We caught the early morning flight to Seattle, drove to the coast and then took the ferry over to Orcas.

Jacob turned 5 while we were on vacation! We had a double-party for Jacob and Anna (who had her b-day 2 days after we came home) It was so fun for them to celebrate their special day with Grandpa and the rest of the family.

We miss you Grandpa, and are already looking forward to our next visit!
